Overburden Drill Rig Frame and Mast

We designed and engineered a new mast and chassis (frame) for an existing overburden drill which experienced recurring cracking in both components.  The development included measuring actual input accelerations and deflections on the existing frame, modeling and structural analysis (FEA), creating manufacturing drawings and acting as third party inspector during manufacture.
